This is a guest post and part of our ongoing Student Life series
Electrorheological Fluids and Magnetorheological Suspensions (ERMR) is the top conference related to my research about semi-active vibration control. It is hold in Incheon, Korea this time. There are 82 oral presentations, 103 posters and 12 plenary speakers who have reported their recent work.

One University of Wollongong (UOW) professor and three students attended this conference. My research about integrated active and semi-active control of seat suspension for heavy duty vehicles is presented in the third day afternoon. Several researchers gave me suggestions about my work. Especially, Prof. Wereley from University of Maryland has a long time talk about my research after my oral presentation and gave me valuable suggestions. The report of Professor Weihua Li gave an inspiring plenary presentation. The new and top research of what he has done in UOW is presented. All the audiences were interesting in this presentation.

There was a half day tour in the conference to let all the attendants have some knowledge of Korea interesting culture. This is good chance for all the people to know Korea better also let us be familiar during the tour.
