The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of emerging Mechatronics technologies and for professional interactions.  Additionally, it serves as a conduit for channelling advanced technology to the regional industry.

My research area is the brake-by-wire. This conference provides many mechatronics technologies, especially in energy management. In my research, brake energy recovery is one of the most important fields. This conference provided me with some good idea to improve the energy recovery. Professor Ren C. Luo is the most inspiring speaker. He is from National Taiwan University, Taiwan.  He has a deep understanding of the field of mechanical and electrical engineering.  He provided some prospects for the future about the mechatronics technologies.  It was very helpful for me.

The most important insights I have gained in this conference is that intelligent robots will be a very important industry.  Specifically, the integration of electromechanical technology and control technology will be the focus in the future.
